Hi! My Name Is Aimee!

I’m eight years old, and I have Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.

Sometimes I have a hard time hearing, and I can get worried or nervous when things feel new or different. I might need a little extra time, help, or reassurance to feel comfortable.

I love playing with my stuffed animals. They are some of my favorite things! And when it comes to food, macaroni and cheese and pizza make me very happy.

I’m one of Evan and Ava’s friends, and I’m happy to join them and all of our friends in Evan Says and Ava Says!

I want to help you understand that it’s okay to tell someone when you feel worried, scared, confused, or uncomfortable.

Sometimes I need things explained in a different way or more than once. Sometimes I need someone to slow down and make sure I understand.

We are all different, but we can all learn ways to help keep ourselves safe.
